HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We had a great Thanksgiving this year with Cory's family. Liz is a very good cook. The Honey Ham was my favorite. We played Bingo after and it was really fun. I won twice but the Morris family won 4 times. Cory finally won the very last game! It's kind of nice to have both families living in the same town because before dinner with the Webb's we were able to see my family also. Jared, Lisa and Jake and my Grandma Walker were all there this year! Cory loves to be with his brothers, they played Basketball almost every night. They are crazy when they get together. We didn't do the whole black Friday thing but we did get to go up Sat and get 3D pictures of our Baby Boy! I was so excited to see him again. The first thing I said was I think he has Cory's nose. I fell in love seeing him with all his little features. He was being so stubborn, he would not wake up. I even drank orange juice like they said and it didn't do anything. He was just a tired boy I guess. I can't believe I am 30 weeks already. I can't wait to have him in my arms.

It's a BOY!!!!

I'm not that great at updating. I'm sure that everybody already knows. News definitely travels fast in Delta. We are so EXCITED to finally get our baby. It was a surprise for sure. I found out on July 1st, Cory finally convinced me to take a home test and I was so irritated cause I knew what the outcome was going to be. After the 2 min I just started to cry because it said positive and I knew it was wrong. I went through everything in my house that I could have taken that may have triggered it. I just knew it wasn't possible since we have been trying for 5 years, we did IVF in January and now we have the adoption papers finished. Cory was kind of shocked too. So I called the Dr's office and asked to get a lab slip for the blood draw. I had to be 100%. Sure enough they called me back an hour later and said I was very pregnant and that I was already 10 weeks. I was still in shock. Then I had to wait till the end of the month to see the Dr. and that seemed like forever. Finally we got to see our little guy on the ultrasound and finally I could tell myself that it was true. I was crying and laughing at the same time. Cory had the biggest smile on his face. When I should my mom the pictures she thought we were adopting, asking me who's baby it was and where we had to go to get it. It was pretty funny. Cory's mom just started to jumping and crying. We are so blessed and this is our Miracle due February 4, 2012!!!!!!!

GREASE!!!!

My mom got us tickets to the Tuachan to see Grease. It was really good. They did an amazing job. It didn't follow the movie right on but it was still fun to watch. We ate at Texas Roadhouse. I love the steak and rolls. We had a blast!

YW/YM Manti Temple

This Saturday we took the YW/YM to the Manti Temple to plant flowers. We planted thousands of flowers. It was really fun, they told us to toss all the flowers and then you plant them where they fall. I'm curious to see what they will look like in a couple weeks.

Also this weekend we went to St. George for the Baseball State Tournament. I was so excited to be there and get some sun...well Thurs it rained during the Delta-Judge game for 1 hr and 55 min. Fri was alot better and it felt so good to have the sun shining. The Baseball team did awesome. Cory was so proud of them. They beat Richfield and Judge on Thurs. Then Fri morning they lost to Canyon View, that was a tough loss. They had a great season and finally they took the Region Title!

Baseball......

Well its official, Baseball season has started, not only with the high school but the MLB. It seems like I never have a break from that ESPN channel. Cory loves helping with the High School team. They are playing really good. It's good to see Cory is the Red, White and Gray again. On the other hand his other team is not doing so good. BOSTON RED SOX. I think they are 1-8 maybe, I could be wrong on the stats. Cory will be sure to let me know when he reads this. I'm glad we have 2 tv's.

We are getting closer to the end of the adoption papers. I can't wait, I wish we were done and just waiting to get the call. A few things have happened since I posted last. Cory is now the 2nd counselor in our bishopric. It was a shocker, we have only been in this ward for 8 months and he is only 26 years old. It was definelty the talk around Delta that week. Good thing we have friends and family in our ward so I have someone to sit by for 5 years.

We got the chance to attend General Conference. It was our 1 time. It was so amazing to be in the same room with the prophet and all the apostles. The spirit is so strong. I loved it. We made a fun weekend out of it. We went shopping and went to dinner and best of all walking around temple square. It is so peaceful and beautiful there.

Update..

Well it's pretty sad but there is nothing really new that is going on with us. We are still in Delta and loving it. Cory loves his job and can't wait for Baseball to start , he is already throwing with some kids after school. Our house is so good. I almost have it the way I want. I can't wait for summer so I can plant flowers. I'm still working at the Rancher and helping with the Cheerleaders. The year has gone by so fast, tryouts are just around the corner. Cory is now the Young Mens President and I am now the 1st counselor in the Young Women so we stay pretty busy. We just got done with the IVF process....did not turn out the way we wanted. We now know what we are suppose to do. I can't wait to start the adoption papers hopefully in a few months. I know that there is a plan for us and we had to learn the hard way. We have had a lot a trials but that has only made us stronger.
